The world of WordPress translation is an exciting universe to explore, especially if you don’t speak the language that you’re having your product translated into. In that case, how can you evaluate quality?
At WP-T we make sure you get the optimum translations from beginning to end. How?
Our Motto: Strong translations need a solid foundation
Before we start a project, your project strings are proofread by a native English speaker. This way you receive feedback even before our translation teams get to work, and you avoid the expense of translating language issues.
All our translation teams follow the official WordPress glossaries and style guides.
The translations teams are provided with a test environment, with all translations reviewed in context in a sandbox site dedicated to your project.
All our projects are managed on Transifex, the leading web-based localization platform that provides an optimum environment for high quality translation. Our team is also connected on Slack to allow real-time collaboration and communication between each team member and the project managers. So, questions can be asked and responded to quickly.
Our Translators—Our Teams
We use a combination of in-house and WordPress General Translation Editors from translate.wordpress.org. All our translators are native speakers. Each team is composed of at least 2 members (1 translator + 1 reviewer) to ensure the highest quality translations.
We are passionate contributors to the WordPress Community. We’re WordPress in spirit and apply this to our work, to your translations.
We are human beings and despite our translation process being rigorous, optimized and performant, issues may occasionally become apparent after we return your work to you. No problem, just get in touch and we’ll fix things right away. Our ethos at WPT: Customers First.
